"This letter is my personal recommendation for Michelle Gant who interned in the Beauty Department from September to December 2012. I found her to be consistently pleasant, tackling all assignments with dedication and a smile.
Besides being a joy to work with, Michelle was able to handle all of our tasks with grace. She successfully put together trend reports for us on the fall shows that helped us organize our thoughts on the key trends. Michelle was game to be helpful in any way possible. She is a team player and would make a great asset to any organization."

"This letter is to recommend Michelle Gant, our fall 2012 beauty intern. Michelle was always eager to help, adaptable, and a quick-learner—all while having a great, upbeat attitude.
The beauty internship requires a person who doesn’t need a lot of hand holding and can look around and figure out what needs to be done and do it. Daily tasks include managing the beauty closet, unpacking and packing beauty products, coordinating messenger deliveries, putting together trend reports and online research, emailing industry contacts, and attending deskside meetings and events. Because of that we need our interns to be able to conduct themselves professionally (in-person and on email) and to be extremely organized and adaptable. Michelle was all of these things. She kept our closet in order (no easy task!), met and emailed publicists with confidence, and worked with the rest of the department with ease.
Michelle was an asset to the team and I highly recommend her without reservations."

“Michelle was a great self-starter and we loved having her around the office. She researched and wrote our first food card guide in the first term of her internship. She had experience in all areas of the magazine including advertising, editorial and circulation. Her attitude and commitment to each project (no matter how large or small!) was impressive.”

"Michelle was one of the most impressive interns we've had at Exquisite Weddings. She quickly learned the programs we use for creating and uploading blog posts and really managed herself much of the time. She took initiative to bring new ideas to the table and even stepped in as a model at a photo shoot. It didn't matter what project she was handed, she completed it on time, with great attention to detail and an enthusiasm that made her a joy to work with."

"In the fall semester of 2010, Ms. Gant was a volunteer fashion blogger for the international college website, CollegeFashionista.com. As the founder for this site, I interacted with Ms. Gant on a weekly basis and was responsible for editing her fashion posts and guiding her with promoting the University of Oregon page of the site. With respect to writing skills, Ms. Gant constantly contributed with insightful fashion advice that demonstrated a full grasp of the fashion industry and an awareness of current trends occurring on college campuses. In addition, Ms. Gant’s maturity was apparent in her ability to balance her undergraduate curricular responsibilities with her obligations as a fashion blogger. Overall, the combination of Ms. Gant’s editorial fashion posts, public relation skills and time organization skills, she has been a positive asset to the website. Therefore, I have no reservations in recommending Ms. Gant the highest esteem."

"Michelle was our Summer intern at KTVZ-TV in 2010. In that time Michelle learned all aspects of storytelling in a small market television news environment. From shooting and editing to writing, and live reporting, Michelle was exposed to all facets of the profession. She is a great young woman who has drive and ambition, and would be a valuable asset to any organization."
